Cookie Policy

Last updated October 22, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Reptile Records App ("Company," "we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and browser storage when you visit https://reptilerecords.app or use our application at https://web.reptilerecords.app (together, the "Services"). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and the controls available to you.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently.

Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, Reptile Records App) are called "first-party cookies." Browser local storage is a related technology that allows a website script to retain data in your browser without using a cookie.

Why do we use cookies?

We use a first-party cookie for essential technical reasons so that the Services can operate securely. We also use browser local storage for our self-hosted Rybbit Analytics installation. Analytics helps us understand usage and improve the Services; it is not used for advertising.

How can I control cookies?

Essential cookies cannot be rejected through the Services because they are strictly necessary to provide requested account and security functionality. You can delete or block them through your browser, but parts of the Services may stop working. Analytics browser storage is not strictly necessary. Where applicable law requires consent, analytics must not be activated until you have consented, and withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it.

The cookie and browser-storage technologies used through the Services are described below:

Essential website cookies:
These cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with services available through our Website and to use some of its features, such as access to secure areas.

Name: reptilerecords_session
Purpose: Maintains session, authentication, and security state.
Provider: reptilerecords.app
Type: First-party server cookie
Expires in: 365 days

Analytics browser storage:
We use a self-hosted installation of Rybbit Analytics to measure use of the Services. IP-address tracking, session replay, error tracking, button-click tracking, copy tracking, form-interaction tracking, and custom-event tracking are disabled. Page URLs, URL parameters, and outbound-link clicks are included in analytics, but our URLs are not designed to contain account information or other directly identifying information.

Name: rybbit-visitor-id
Purpose: Stores a randomly generated browser identifier used by the analytics script.
Provider: Reptile Records App, through analytics.acdesigns.io
Type: Browser local storage
Expires in: No automatic expiry; it remains until removed by the browser, the user, or the Services

Do you use other tracking technologies?

Yes. The Rybbit script sends analytics events to our self-hosted analytics service at analytics.acdesigns.io. Depending on the page visit, these events may include the page path and URL parameters, page title, referring page, timestamp, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language, screen dimensions, approximate geographic information, and outbound-link clicks including the destination URL and link text. IP-address tracking is disabled, although an IP address is necessarily processed transiently when a network request is made. Analytics data is hosted by us in the European Union and is not shared with Rybbit's operator as an analytics service provider.

Do you use Flash cookies or Local Shared Objects?

No we do not.

Do you serve targeted advertising?

No. We do not use Rybbit data for advertising, cross-site tracking, or advertising profiles.

How can I control cookies on my browser?

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can use your browser settings to inspect, block, or delete cookies and local-storage entries. Deleting rybbit-visitor-id removes the analytics identifier from that browser, although a new identifier may be created if analytics is activated again.

The means by which you can manage cookies and site data vary from browser to browser. Below is information for popular browsers:

How often will you update this Cookie Policy?

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please therefore revisit this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies.

The date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last updated.
